Exercise 11 - Recommendations

Hurstville library is a centre of cultural excellence which educates, inspires and engages community through innovative programs and support life long learning. This library provides several 2.0 technological services. Such as:
  • facebook

  • news and ebents feed
  • follow us on twitter
  • watch our videos etc.
On the other hand, it provides a good number of programs for different age group users which are as follows:
  •  It facilitates computer training program and reading programs for children and teenagers.
  • KoALA, Premiers Reading Challenge and QUILLIS Summer Reading Program are specially for children.
  • Joey Tales, Dragon Tales are for babies and preschoolers.
  • Art Attack, Book Week, Dragonfly Kids Club, School Holiday Activities, Storytime, Your Tutor etc are for children
  • Surviving school, Anime, What's on etc services are for youth age group.
  • It provides Virtual exhibition
  • It has eBooks service
  • It has Ask us service that will help answer your questions
  • Its assignment assistant service provides access to a variety of resources and tools to help.
  • It has Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) 
  •  It provides research databases
  • It facilitates How Do You program which helps to solve thousands  of problem
